Deputy Principal

I started at Reignier Catholic School at the beginning of 2008 and have the pleasure of leading the hard working group in the Senior Team.
I teach Year 5 and 6 students in Room 10 and enjoy broadening my students outlook on the world as well as developing their leadership talents.
I have a great passion for sports whether it is playing, coaching or watching and organize all sporting and Interhouse activities at school.
I recently moved back to Napier after spending time overseas and teaching at a Catholic Boys College in South Auckland.
I am originally from Otago, so enjoy the warmer climes of the Bay.
My Scottish background led me to learn to play the bagpipes.
I am married with two young children and have one more on the way.
Assistant Principal
I have been teaching at Reignier Catholic School since January 2008. I am enjoying the opportunity to lead the Middle Team and work alongside enthusiastic, energetic and commited teachers.
I teach Year 3 and 4 students and love sharing in their learning successes and challenges.
I am also part of a team that is developing inquiry across the whole school.
I have taught NE to Year 8 students and have enjoyed all these experiences.
I have recently moved to the sunny Hawkes Bay from Tokoroa in the South Waikato region. My home city is Tauranga and I enjoy the beach and related water activities.
Regular walks, yoga and pilates are my fitness activities of choice. I am an avid reader and can be found with my nose in a book at some point during each day.
I am the mother of 3 adult children and my favourite quote is " to have a child is to forever have your heart walk outside your body "
Junior Team Leader
I teach a Year One class in Room 2, St Angela. I lead the Junior Team and have a special interest in Literacy. I am Reading Recovery trained and taught this for seven years.
I have been teaching at Reignier School for 21 years and spent one of those years on a teaching exchange in the UK.
Director of Religious Studies
I teach a Year 2 class in Room 4.
I am the Director of Religious Studies which means that I am responsible for the implementation of the Religious Education Programme.
I am Reading Recovery trained and enjoy teaching Literacy.
