TERM 4 WEEK 4

Posted on 4 November 2019

Tena kotou families

Wow! What an amazing gala we had on the weekend. A big thank you for all your support in making it such a great day!

Just a reminder that on Wednesday we have our Junior Athletics day. Children are to come to school wearing their house colours...no uniforms. Don't forget they need a hat and a full water bottle. In this hot weather, it is a good idea to send your child to school sunscreened!

This Friday is a very sad day...we are losing our lovely Senaya, who is moving to Australia, and it is also Miss King's last day. We will have a shared lunch to say good-bye. Please bring a small plate of food to share. (We have a child who is allergic to nuts.)

We have been really lucky to have Miss King with us for the last four weeks. She has been a great asset to the class and we wish her all the best for the remainder of her study to become a teacher.

TECHNOLOGY: We have been designing and creating marble rollers out of newspaper over the last couple of weeks. This Friday we will using the knowledge gained to make a marble roller out of chosen recycling materials. The children have discussed this with their group and have some ideas. Please remind them to find the recycling they need and bring it to school by Friday. Thanks

Have a super week everyone
